Nothing feels like a Precor

I could write a lengthy review but it really just comes down to one thing, "nothing feels like a Precor". The motion follows the natural movement of your foot perfectly and your heel never comes off the foot pedal. It's the only piece of cardio I have ever used where the work is primarily felt in the glute muscle, a really tough muscle to work.

I research major purchases for up to a year, and tried virtually every elliptical made. I can't understand why you would buy anything else. If it is not smooth and comfortable, I am not going to use it. Finally, not sure how you would top the warrantee. 10 year parts including wear and tear? That would be like a car manufacturer giving you new tires if you wore them out before the warrantee was up. I have never had to use the warrantee but am glad I have it.

wow what a machine.

I was using the professional Precor EFX model machine at Gold’s gym on a regular basis with my wife but she rarely went to work out. She said if I had a machine at home she would use it more. (ha! Hmmmm) So I did spring for the most expensive and the model closest to the one I used at the club. I even went to a store to try out the other models but was not pleased with the lower end since it just didn’t feel right. The EFX 5.37 is absolutely awesome!!! I use it for one hour a day 5 days a week and was worth the purchase! One thing I need to let you know about the machine. Mr. Cheapsake bought the machine on line which was great, they delivered it to my home on time but rules are they can only bring it in to one area without setup so I had to figure out how to do it according to the documents included. ONE BIT OF GREAT ADVICE! You can go to the company website and get a step by step video instruction on how to assembly it. It was so easy watching and doing exactly how it was done. (may want to see it first to decide if you want to take the challenge.) I have been using it now for about a year and it works perfectly without any noise or squeaks which was a big concern for me with other equipment. It was worth the price and seems to be the only device I have used consistently. Oh Precor has the best customer service too….
